Hindu literature consists of four vedas: Rigveda, Yajurveda, Samveda and Atharvaveda. These vedas have six main parts: Shiksha, Kalp, Nirukt, Vyakaran, Chand and Jyotish. Jyotish is considered to be the eyes of Vedas.
